We are hiring for a Graduate Project Manager to be based out of our Toowoomba office. This role is offered on a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. You will have the opportunity to learn from, and partner with, experienced project managers to develop the skills, competency and capability required to effectively manage a range of multidisciplinary (mechanical) engineering projects across GrainCorp''s country and port operations. Specifically, you will:Support experienced Project Managers in the design, planning and execution of a range of multidisciplinary projectsDevelop and apply the skills, knowledge and processes involved in each phase of the project lifecycleDevelop end-to-end project documentationUnderstand and manage stakeholder needsAssist with project issues and changesParticipate in project review and log lessons learnedIdentify, assess and report on risksSupport procurement activities and contractor managementDetermine appropriate project control mechanismsEfficient and regular reporting on project status.As you continue to develop your competency and confidence in the role, you can expect to take on additional responsibility, including the end-to-end delivery of your own projects.About your experienceOur ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Management or similar completed within the last two years at most as well as the following:Demonstrated understanding of the project lifecycle including work breakdown, scheduling, cost control, quality, and risk managementStrong IT literacy including Microsoft Excel and WordSound communication and time management skillsAustralian citizenship or permanent residency or a valid work visaValid driver licence & ability to travel on occasionWhat you can expect:Career pathways, study support & mentoringInclusive, flexible working cultureWellbeing benefits like ME!
