The business recently secured significant investment to further scale it''s growth domestically and internationally.Position OverviewThe Corporate Accountant is responsible for all financial processes and controls across The Laundry Lady''s domestic and international markets.This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development and exposure to various aspects of financial management in a dynamic marketplace business.The position reports jointly to the CEO & part time CFO, with wide exposure across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement Accounts:Prepare monthly management accounts within one week of calendar month end close. Prepare appropriate reconciliations and journal entries. Report these to CEO & CFOOversight of transaction processingAccounts ReceivableAccounts PayableBank ReconciliationInvoice ProcessingOversee maintenance of accurate records in XeroATO - ensure compliance with GST, BAS & PAYG submissionsLiaise with external tax accountants regain preparation of income tax returnsSupport the timely production of information for R&D Grant application.Oversee Management Accounts, Bank reconciliations and payroll of international entities as they commence trading in Canada and the UKOversee the accounts of New Zealand entityManage payroll processing in Australian and international entitiesLiaise with operations to ensure timely payment of contractor invoicesEnsure accurate reporting between platform and XeroPrepare Weekly and Monthly KPIs for managementOversee offshore transaction processing accounting functionLiaise with operations team, developers, external accountants and management as appropriate on business systems development in Australia & overseas entities.Monitor debtors & take appropriate action regarding escalation.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5 years experience in accountingSome supervisory experience desirableGood Excel skills2-3 years Xero experienceComfortable working with software platformsUnderstanding of basic tax processMulti currency experience is desirableWhat We OfferFlexible Remote Work:Work from home with flexible scheduling within business hoursProfessional Growth:Opportunity to develop accounting skills in dynamic business environmentSupportive Team:Collaborative work environment with experienced professionalsWork-Life Balance:Flexible, part-time hours allowing for study, school hours or other commitmentsExciting Career Development Opportunity: The business has high growth plans, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in global growth.If you think you have what it takes to excel in this role, we''d love to hear from you.
