About the roleThis role will serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations, ensuring a seamless experience and driving client satisfaction and retention. This is a hybrid role; you will be expected to work three days in the Chatswood office and will be required to work variable hours to meet the demands of the role and the requirements of the prospects.About YouIn this Account Manager, People & Payroll position, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with our key clients within the People & Payroll division. You''ll be developing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned client accounts. Understanding client needs and objectives you''ll have the ability to proactively identify solutions to address them. Collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Product Development, Support) you will be able to ensure client needs are met effectively. You''ll be used to conducting regular business reviews and strategic meetings with clients to review performance, identify opportunities, and discuss challenges.Daytoday, you will be focused on:Monitoring account health and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and prevent churn.Achieving sales targets and growth objectives through upselling and crossselling opportunities.Preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and reports as needed.Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to provide strategic guidance to clients.Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the midmarket segment, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals.Developing account plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and customer success.Coordinating onboarding and implementation processes for new clients to ensure a smooth transition and early success.Collaborating with marketing to support campaigns and events targeted at midmarket clients.Maintaining accurate records of customer account activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems.Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations based on industry trends and product capabilities.Your skills and experience may include:A bachelor''s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar sales/customer service role within the IT or SaaS industry.Excellent communication and negotiation skills and persuasive and compelling in expressing ideas and concepts.Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while paying attention to detail.Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools.Experience managing midmarket accounts with complex needs and longer sales cycles.Strong commercial acumen and understanding of SaaS metrics and business models.Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at various levels, including Csuite.Experience using data to drive decisions and improve client outcomes.Knowledge of the specific industries Access serves (e.g., Hospitality, Manufacturing, NFP, Construction) is a plus.What are we all about?The Access Group is one of the largest UKheadquartered providers of business management software to small and midsized organisations in the UK, Ireland, USA and Asia Pacific.
