Operations Leading Hand (Driver Shift Supervisor)Location: Brisbane Airport, Brisbane, Queensland, AustraliaOverviewDenata catering & retail invites a dedicated professional to the Brisbane Airport Catering team as a permanent fulltime Operations Leading Hand. The role blends leadership, safety focus, and handson driving duties to ensure seamless service for airline customers.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in leading and coordinating the Customer Delivery team.Ensure productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area, including completion of regular performance assessments.Organise and coordinate work within the area of responsibility.Supervise catering trucks to safely deliver to aircraft on schedule.Lead by example and perform all duties of a Driver.Assist in training and inducting new workers.Perform administrative tasks such as shift reports and rostering.Follow up on discrepancies and ensure accurate inflight meal loading.Qualifications & RequirementsClean HR Driver''s licence.Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.Flexibility to work around flight schedules.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Clear National Police Check required.Demonstrated leadership, decisionmaking and organisational skills.Availability to work 38 hrs/week (fulltime).Handson, leading by example.BenefitsCloseknit, safetydedicated team.Competitive pay and penalties.Free onsite parking, meals and uniforms.Career development and national relocation opportunities.5 weeks annual leave.Discounts at numerous retailers, discounted health insurance, novated lease options and wellbeing resources.About dnata cateringAustralia''s largest and most admired inflight catering and retail partner.
