They provide supervision, training, and consultation to support staff in applying therapies like CBT, trauma-informed care, family-inclusive approaches, and other recovery-focused modalities. In addition to supporting the team, the Senior Psychologist directly works with young people with complex presentations, providing specialist assessment and intervention. They help shape service delivery, contribute to workforce development, and ensure care aligns with best-practice standards. The role requires both autonomous decision-making and collaborative teamwork, driving excellence in early psychosis care and supporting the recovery journey of young people and their families.Experience RequirementsDemonstrated experience of working within a mental health service, preferably with young people in group setting.Demonstrated experience using a case management model in a mental health setting with clinical expertise around assessment and engagement.Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership.Qualification And Other RequirementsRegistration as a psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009).
