Reporting to the Payroll Manager and supporting two Payroll Officers, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across the Johnson Controls group.**Key Responsibilities*** Provide day-to-day payroll operational support for ANZ, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.* Maintain and update payroll process documentation, checklists, and calendars.* Ensure all statutory and non-statutory payments are processed accurately and on schedule.* Maintain data integrity within payroll systems and ensure compliance with country-specific requirements.* Administer payroll processes, including data collection, calculation, and entry.* Prepare summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, insurance, and non-taxable wages.* Resolve payroll discrepancies and perform reconciliations.* Support month-end and year-end payroll processes.* Ensure accurate and timely submission of Single Touch Payroll / Pay Day Filing.* Manage payroll and employee master file records.* Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations.* Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll queries.* Assist with payroll system migration projects and other ad-hoc tasks.* Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.**What We''re Looking For*** Minimum 8 years'' experience in Payroll or HR Operations* Strong knowledge of interpreting Awards and EBAs* Experience with payroll systems such as Chris21, Ramco, Workday, or MS CRM Dynamics* Background in unionized environments* Payroll certification preferred* Bachelor''s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field* High attention to detail, strong time management, and excellent communication skills* Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information**Additional Information*** Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.* Pre-employment checks (references, medical, criminal record, drug & alcohol testing) will apply.**Diversity & Inclusion**Johnson Controls is an equal opportunity employer.
