Location: Brisbane, QLDContract Duration: 12 months with potential extensionFlexibility: Hybrid working modelOur Client:A major Queensland Government department focused on building a connected, accessible and futureready transport network for the community.The Role:You will lead a major capability uplift project designed to modernise the wireless traffic sensor data transfer environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the new capability is reliable, efficient, and aligned with future operational and contractual needs.ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of the WTS capability improvement project and associated work packagesCollaborate with vendors, technical teams and business units to develop and implement effective solutionsEngage stakeholders to refresh, validate and document business and technical requirementsFacilitate clear communication across all groups to ensure requirements and expectations are alignedManage project risks, issues, priorities and maintain accurate schedules and progress reportingProduce key project artefacts, including requirements and documentation supporting procurement activitiesSkills & ExperienceDemonstrated project management experience, ideally across intelligent transport systems or complex ICT environmentsStrong understanding of Queensland Government ICT frameworks and policiesExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilitiesProven history of delivering successful ICT or capability uplift projectsWork on a highvalue project impacting transport operations statewideHybrid working options supporting worklife balanceOpportunity to influence future digital capability and system optimisationHow to apply:Please apply with current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
