This role represents an opportunity to support an incredibly exciting, fast-growing financial technology company (''FinTech''), that offers substantial personal and professional development opportunities.OurMoneyMarket is a leading fintech with a mission to Make Money Simple, and we are proud to have been ranked in the AFR Fast 100 List 2024, alongside numerous industry awards from Canstar, Finder & RateCity.What you''ll doAs a member of the Finance team, you will play an instrumental role in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.The responsibilities of this role include:Oversee the month-end accounting process, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.Provide support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.Prepare monthly management reports and monitor financial performance against budget.Maintain the general ledger, regularly reconcile key balance sheet accounts, and investigate any discrepancies.Assist with statutory reporting requirements to ensure compliance.Support external audit processes by providing necessary information and documentation.Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visual reports and maintain existing ones.Offer ad-hoc assistance to the broader finance team as required.Respond to internal and external finance-related queries promptly and effectively.What you''ll bring:Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline (essential);Hands-on and self-sufficient, with strong end-to-end month-end and reporting capabilities.Essential experience in financial services or a related industry.Technical proficiency in financial systems (preferably Xero), Power BI and Excel.Strong analytical skills for handling complex, high-volume data.Up to date knowledge on accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory reporting requirements.What we''ll offer:Fast-growing business, disrupting traditional consumer finance.Amazing work culture and opportunities to grow.Full-time position, competitive remuneration.Located in Adelaide CBD.If you are a self-starter who is passionate about making a difference, we would love to hear from you.
