Account ManagerAbout the CompanyA well-established supplier to the Australian mining sector is expanding its footprint across Central West NSW and is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support and grow relationships with underground and surface mining operations throughout the region.The business supplies heavyduty earthmoving wheel and rim solutions used on mobile mining equipment, including loaders, haul trucks and underground production machinery. Customers include mine owners, principal contractors and maintenance service providers operating across hardrock mining environments.This is a handson, fieldbased role suited to someone who enjoys being onsite, engaging directly with operational teams, and building longterm partnerships across active mine sites. The territory includes Parkes, Orange, Dubbo, Cobar and surrounding mining regions.About the RoleReporting to a NSWbased leadership team, the Account Manager will take ownership of a defined Central West NSW mining territory, managing existing accounts while identifying and developing new opportunities within both underground and opencut mining operations.The role requires regular site engagement with customers operating heavy mobile fleets and a strong understanding of how equipment performance, maintenance and lifecycle costs impact mining operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow relationships with underground and surface mining operations, principal contractors and maintenance providersSell earthmoving wheel and rim solutions into heavy mobile equipment fleets, including loaders, haul trucks and underground machineryConduct regular onsite visits to assess equipment condition and identify replacement, upgrade and standardisation opportunitiesEngage key stakeholders including Maintenance Managers, Mobile Plant Supervisors, Engineering Managers, Asset Managers and Procurement teamsDevelop new business opportunities within existing accounts and across new mining operations in the territoryPrepare quotations, manage followups and maintain accurate CRM and sales reportingWork closely with internal operations, service and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfactionAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Proven B2B sales or account management experience selling into mining sectorsExposure to heavy equipment, mobile plant, OTR tyre, wheels, components or industrial mining products (not essential)Prior experience calling on open cut or underground mining operations in Regional New South Wales (essential)Strong relationshipbuilding skills with operational and procurement stakeholdersA selfmotivated and autonomous approach to managing a regional territoryExcellent communication, negotiation and technical presentation skillsWillingness to travel regularly across regional and remote NSW mine sitesCurrently living in, or actively considering relocating to, Central West NSW, with ideal locations including Parkes, Orange, Dubbo or Cobar (or nearby regional centres)What''s on Offer$100,000 $120,000 base salary (depending on experience)Company vehicle, phone and laptopPerformancebased bonus structureFlexible working arrangementsLongterm career progression within a growing, miningfocused businessSupportive, professional team environment with strong operational backingSeniority LevelMidSenior levelEmployment TypeFulltimeIndustriesMining, Automation Machinery Manufacturing, Oil, Gas, and Mining #J-18808-Ljbffr
