In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring high standards of customer service, effective inventory control, and smooth store operations. The Store Supervisor plays a key role in leading and supporting staff, maintaining a safe and wellorganised store environment, and ensuring orders and stock movements are handled accurately and efficiently. As our store trades seven days a week, availability to work every third weekend on a rotating roster is required.Hours:Monday - Friday: 8:35am - 5:10pmSaturday: 8:40am - 2:10pmSunday: 9:35am - 1:10pm(Every third weekend)Key responsibilities & competencies:As a Store Supervisor you will be responsible for:Leading by example to deliver outstanding customer service and promptly resolving escalated customer enquiries or concerns.Supervising, motivating, and supporting team members to achieve individual and store performance targets.Providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management to ensure high standards are maintained.Coordinating staff training and development, including onboarding and continuous skill improvement.Managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures and ensuring smooth workflows.Preparing and maintaining staff rosters to ensure appropriate coverage across the sales floor and warehouse.Monitoring stock levels, supporting inventory control, and coordinating replenishment as required.Maintaining high standards of merchandising, visual presentation, cleanliness, and store appearance.Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and regulatory standards.Representing the business positively within the local community and supporting brand values at all times.Relevant experience & skills:A willingness to learn and take initiative in a leadership role.A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in store operations and inventory management.Experience in inventory control, stock management, or retail operations.Previous experience supervising or supporting a team in a retail or customerfocused environment.Excellent time management, organisational, and problemsolving skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fastpaced retail setting.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, customers, and management.Ability to handle physically active tasks, including stocking shelves, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation.Comfortable working on the sales floor, including standing for extended periods and moving merchandise as needed.A proactive, positive attitude with a commitment to upholding high standards of customer service and store operations.About W.
