Position:Organisation Unit:Location:Package:Closing:Synopsis:To apply for this position, you must be a current ongoing Commonwealth employee, and be able to undertake a Temporary Transfer under S26 of the Public Service Act 1999Overview of the TeamThe Injury Management Unit within the Service Performance Wellbeing and Safety team plays a vital role in supporting Comcare employees through injury recovery and return to work. The team manages rehabilitation cases under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (SRC) Act and contributes to broader health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation. With a strong focus on early intervention, person-centred support, and continuous improvement, the team works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, durable, and empowering outcomes for employees.Overview of the RoleAs the APS6 Rehabilitation Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting Comcare employees through injury recovery and return to work. You will manage complex and sensitive rehabilitation cases across all agency groups, applying a person-centred, evidence-informed approach.
