Area Facilities ManagerThe Salvation Army Australia invites applications for the permanent, fulltime Area Facilities Manager role within the Property Facility Management Team in Brisbane.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage strategic property plans, including inspections, asset registers, maintenance schedules and compliance programmes.Oversee reactive works, minor capital projects and vendor performance across the portfolio.Lead the development of scopes of work, contracts and business cases for property improvements.Support longterm asset planning (5, 10, 15year horizons) focused on sustainability, efficiency and lifecycle management.Represent the Property Department in stakeholder meetings, project planning and regional engagement.Coordinate lease obligations, makegood works and property inspections for acquisitions and disposals.Prepare and manage annual maintenance and improvement budgets.About YouThe ideal candidate is a proactive, collaborative, clientfocused team member who can multitask, problemsolve and build strong stakeholder relationships.5+ years of facilities management experience in portfolios of 150+ properties preferred.Experience across diverse property types: commercial, institutional (churches) and housing.Strong understanding of Building Codes, Australian Standards, Essential Services, statutory and WHS legislation.Experience overseeing / projectmanaging minor capital works (typically under $250k) and contractor performance management.Proven track record in customer and key stakeholder management.Proficient IT skills, including facilities management software and the Microsoft Office suite.BenefitsAttractive salary with NFP salary packaging ($15,900 taxfree) plus meals and entertainment benefits ($2,650).Generous Paid Parental Leave for primary (12 weeks) and secondary carers, Purchased Leave Scheme (up to 8 weeks) and 5 days paid leave per year to experience work in other TSA programs or activities.Salvos Rewards exclusive financial, retail and lifestyle discounts and benefits.Novated car leasing, discounts on car hire and purchase.Employee Assistance Programme independent confidential counselling service.How to ApplyWe are looking for compassionate people who share our mission and values.
