ANZORRG is a group of Clinical Quality Registries that collects, analyses, and reports on data related to organ donation and replacement therapies to improve patient outcomes and inform clinical practice across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.This core leadership role will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of key operational activities across the suite of ANZORRG Registries, along with leading initiatives related to data collection, management and reporting.The Project Manager position will form part of the ANZORRG leadership team with responsibility for high quality registry data, successful project management and facilitation of Registry based projects and improvement initiatives.About the RoleKey responsibilities include:Leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of ANZORRG project plans, tasks, timelines, reporting, and outcomesEnsuring consistent, high-quality project management principles, documentation, and reporting processes are upheld throughout ANZORRG projects and proceduresGuiding ANZORRG data management and integration practices and proceduresSupporting development and application of Registry best practices across the organisationChampioning continuous improvement in procedures, workflows, tools, and organisationProviding leadership, mentorship, and training to ANZORRG Project Officers and broader staff, where appropriateDelivering accurate, timely responses to data requests and reporting obligations for contributing units, government agencies, and collaboratorsConducting analysis and interpretation of Registry projects for a variety of audiences, both in writing and verballyAbout YouThe successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:Essential requirement: Relevant degree in science, health science, public health or related fieldDesirable: relevant higher qualification in data management, analysis, relevant clinical areaProven experience in managing complex projects or programs, preferably within a registry or health research settingKnowledge of organ transplantation and donationExperience in quality improvement initiatives in health care settingsExperience working with large health datasets or clinical quality registriesStrong stakeholder engagement skills across clinical, research, and government sectorsStrong understanding of committee governance practices and proceduresHigh-level organisational, time management, and prioritisation skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and limited directionHigh-level proficiency in both strategic thinking and attention to detail in operational deliveryEffective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiationSpecial RequirementsSome out of hours work may be required.Possible travel interstate or overseas.What We OfferCompetitive salary dependent on current level, experience and qualificationsIn addition, we offer up to $15,900 FBT exempt salary packaging and up to $2,650 FBT exempt meals and entertainment packagingFlexible work arrangements to support work life balanceExposure to diverse research fields and technologiesOur Culture and ValuesEverything we do is underpinned by our core values and our institute is dedicated to grow a culture that pursues, enables and demands research excellence.
