We aim to provide the best possible highperformance program and facilities, in addition to unwavering support to our iconic national teams the Kookaburras and the Hockeyroos.As a strong valuesbased organisation, our inclusive culture, employee benefits and commitment to learning and development, are the reason why we believe we are an employer of choice in the sporting industry.About the RoleReporting to the Head Coach and working collaboratively with the coaching team, the core purpose of this role will be shaping the success of the team through data and video collection, meticulous analysis, insightful data interpretation and effective collaboration with coaching staff and players, ensuring the Kookaburras are best prepared to achieve medal success at benchmark events including the 2026 World Cup, the 2028 LA Olympic Games and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with all aspects of the data collection and analysis for National Men''s High Performance Program, both in training and competition.Ability to manage endtoend analysis lifecycle, from data collection and manipulation through to delivery, reporting and education.Assisting in building a high performance culture that actively embraces athlete wellbeing as a key pillar of an environment for sustained success. An environment where all feel safe, trusted, valued, and respected within the team.Undertake agreed tasks within the Daily Training Environment ("DTE") including training analysis and reporting.Collaborating with the Head Coach and coaching team to develop appropriate match analysis reporting specific to the developed "way of play".Advanced opposition scouting and reporting.Sharing of information to increase the collective knowledge of the high performance environment and the national hockey system.Experience and QualificationsDegree in Sport Science, Performance Analysis or similar field.Proven experience as a performance analyst in international hockey, with strong understanding of game success factors and program development.Advanced analytical and technology skills, including expertise in video analysis tools and data interpretation.Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly using both video and data.Demonstrated ability to build trustbased relationships and foster psychologically safe environments for athletes and staff.Experience supporting individual development through feedback, motivation, and career transitions.Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary highperformance teams and with key stakeholders.Benefits and CultureBased at the Perth Hockey Stadium in Perth, Hockey Australia is an exciting workplace to be a part of with progressive and passionate staff that embody the HA values.
