We take pride in creating safe, reliable environments where communities can thrive.Purpose of the RoleBGIS is seeking a qualified and dependable HVAC Technician to support the ongoing maintenance and care of a large, highly regulated healthcare precinct on the Gold Coast .Reporting to the Technical Services team, you will work collaboratively with site stakeholders and BGIS colleagues to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across critical mechanical systems, ensuring comfort, reliability, and compliance.This role suits someone who values quality work, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in supporting environments that genuinely matter.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC systems, including chillers, package units, split systems, ventilation and filtrationDiagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in a timely, considered mannerMaintain and inspect chilled water systems, BMS interfaces, and associated equipmentComplete service documentation accurately and contribute to reporting requirementsBuild respectful, professional relationships with site stakeholders and service partnersSupport a safe, well-organised workplace aligned with BGIS values and systemsEducation, Experience & SkillsRestricted Electrical LicenceWhite Card (General Construction Induction)Current Driver''s Licence (manual capability)15 years'' experience in a similar HVAC role (all levels encouraged to apply)Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approachExperience working in healthcare or other regulated environmentsFamiliarity with BMS and preventative maintenance programsInterest in ongoing learning and skills developmentWorkplace FlexibilityThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Southport, close to public transport.
