Given our vision, our culture is vitally important to us.ResponsibilitiesOperate as the daytoday media contact for the QAS, managing and responding to enquiries to maximise coverage opportunities or escalating to the Head of Communications and Media as required.Lead the QAS'' proactive approach to media, building media relationships and identifying/pitching traditional and nontraditional opportunities to raise awareness and elevate the QAS brand with target audiences.Research, write and review key media and communications documentation, such as media releases, website articles, fact sheets, newsletters and speaking notes.Develop, pitch and evaluate newsworthy launch, media and photo opportunities to support QAS programs and initiatives in alignment with QAS'' strategic pillars.Manage and monitor daily media coverage, identifying and escalating coverage as needed and delivering to reporting requirements.Lead the development and maintenance of QAS external website content, identifying opportunities for integrated communications or crosspromotion.Lead the development and execution of program communications plans, aligning with QAS'' strategic pillars and identifying opportunities for integrated communications or crosspromotion.The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our athletes.We are committed to an environment where athletes from any background are heard, treated fairly and free from abuse.More information regarding the QAS Safeguarding Statement of Commitment can be found on our website.Applications will remain current for 12 months. #J-18808-Ljbffr
