Company OverviewBellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is a highgrade gold mine in Western Australia. The Bellevue mine has an estimated 10+ year mine life forecast to produce ~150,000 Au ounces in FY26. Underground mining has occurred since late 2020 to establish multiple mining fronts that derisks production with exploration potential expected to grow the current highgrade resource. The Bellevue Gold Mine is located approximately 30km north of Leinster township and sits in a major gold and nickel producing district. The Company has a highly skilled management team with a track record of exploration success and development of major gold mines.Bellevue Gold has the ambitious goal of net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the Bellevue Gold Project by 2026. We seek to foster an energetic and collaborative work culture that attracts and retains exceptional employees.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with Planners, Paste Plant Operators, and Underground Paste crews to ensure the delivery of Paste fill to the underground workings as per the mine schedule.Conduct regular processing and underground visits to maintain quality control of backfill, stope prep, fill walls, and piping.Provide engineering solutions to the paste fill to have standard quality and efficient delivery of paste to the underground stopes.Develop, maintain & improve necessary systems and processes for the safe delivery of paste fill from the surface to the underground mine.Monitors delivered paste fill into the stopes are of correct engineering specification.Establish and maintain daily, monthly, and yearly records of actual paste fill pours comparing actuals to the monthly plan and budget.Assist in meeting production forecasts and budgets.Provides and establish weekly, monthly, and yearly backfill reports.Provide up to date engineered drawings and procedures required for underground distribution system and fill wall construction.Design and procurement of paste infrastructure for the backbone paste reticulation network (diverter valves, friction loops, sensors etc).Designs and updates pressure flow models to indicate operating pressures and ensure safe operation.Leading, mentoring, performance management and providing individual development plans for the Backfill Engineering Team.Supporting the Production Team providing guidance for weekly scheduling priorities and pastefill requirements.Create a culture of continuous improvement, by proactively raising business improvement opportunities to improve safety, productivity, costs or ESG outcomes.Assist in other mine project work where required.Key Skills / Qualifications / ExperienceA tertiary degree in Mining EngineeringExperience with pastefillSolid professional experience in mining engineeringDeswik competencyWelldeveloped communication and literacy skillsAbility to work autonomously with welldeveloped time management skillsOutstanding analytical skillsHighly skilled written and verbal communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skillsWelldeveloped interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work to deadlinesSeniority levelMidSenior levelEmployment typeFulltimeJob functionMiningBGL is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and building an organisation which provides equal opportunities for all its employees with the objective of attracting, retaining, and developing a workforce that is representative of the wider community.
