The position requires advanced knowledge on live production systems, including Production Switchers, Graphics, and Routing.This frontline individual is responsible for managing customer expectations, completing required documentation, providing enduser technical & operational training and ensuring that the solution performs as specified. The individual collaborates closely with the Sales and Technical Services Teams to deliver the Ross Superior Customer Experience.ReportingGeneral Manager - OceaniaWhat we offerRoss offers competitive salaries, as well as several perks to help you perform at your best.Flexible hoursGenerous paid time offWellness allowanceEmployee share ownership programProfessional development supportBest of all, you will be part of the Ross Video team, and we''ve got a pretty energising environment here.What the job is all aboutDemonstrationsPerform onsite, offsite, online/remote customer demonstrations and tradeshow eventsResponsible for maintaining the operational and technical integrity of demo and training experiences and providing solutions for improvementsSet up, prepare, and test equipment before demos, roadshows and tradeshowsAdvise Sales and Marketing Product Management (MPM) on industry trends and customer feedbackMaintain advanced knowledge and skill sets of Ross Video''s solutions, which contain product lines including Production Switchers, Character Generation & Graphics, Routing, Signal Processing, Camera motion systems, Video Servers, and Production Workflow toolsCreate demonstration techniques and materials for internal useTrainingPerform onsite, and online customer trainingsProvide product and solutions training to other Ross colleagues and Business PartnersMaintain training equipment, assist with setup and prepare equipment prior to training sessionsMaintain the integrity of the training experience and provide feedback and inputMaintain knowledge of Ross Solutions and Products, train on multiple platforms, and assist in workflow implementation cross productsCommissioningPerform onsite software installation and upgrades, commissioning multiple product linesEncompasses troubleshooting technical and system issues at customer facilities, providing comprehensive customer and technical support, and maintaining thorough documentation, such as daily reportsMaintain advanced knowledge in relevant product lines, provide customer feedback to Sales, Management, and Product teamsTechnical SupportAssist the Technical Support team to research, diagnose, and resolve customer issues, as requiredProject CoordinationBe the clientfacing contact for the delivery of Ross Video''s solutions, understanding client needs, supporting user requirements creation, and facilitating communication between Ross Video and the clientBe the bridge between Sales Team and the project, ensuring SOW changes and its associated impact are understood and implemented seamlesslyDeliver projects to customers through to handoverGuide project activities and communicate outcomes effectivelyEnsures the Sales, Marketing and Service Delivery of our Solutions follows the Ross Video Code of EthicsWho you areMinimum 5 years of combined experience in Broadcast engineering, operations, systems application, product specialization, or related fieldsExperience in project coordinationProven track record and technical expertise in customerfacing environmentsUnderstanding of live production operations and workflows and has strong knowledge of industrystandardsExperience with common Live Production products, including Television graphics systems, video servers, production switchers, routers, and device control protocolsAbility to clearly communicate and present ideas to various audiences with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools, even in highly stressful situationsWellorganized, very detail oriented, positive, determined, and able to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be able to work with a team as well as independentlySkilled at navigating uncertainty and learning swiftlyBonus points if you have the followingExisting knowledge and use of Ross Video productsOtherHolds a valid passport as required to travel up to 60% of time for industry trade shows and Sales Meetings as requiredValid Driver''s License & a clear driving recordWork from home office, with high volume travel as requiredEquity, Diversity & InclusionAt Ross, we embrace diversity, and we want you to bring your authentic self to work.
