In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and tax compliance for the GPT Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund (GWSCF) and the GPT Wholesale Office Fund (GWOF). You will also play a key role in statutory financial reporting, liaising with auditors and supporting ad hoc projects. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated accounting professional to contribute to the success of high-quality retail and office portfolios.What you will be doingPreparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and accrual journalsReviewing trial balances and calculating quarterly management feesOverseeing related party payments and quarterly distribution calculationsPreparing statutory financial statements, tax returns, and BAS workingsSupporting half-year and year-end reporting (31 Dec & 30 Jun)Raising purchase orders and managing service receipting for head trust expensesLiaising with external auditors and responding to queriesContributing to special projects and ad hoc reportingWhat makes you stand outYou are a detail-oriented accounting professional with a Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) and a CA/CPA qualification.
