Hiring for Technical and Project Talent to work in the Government space.Our NSW Government client are looking for a highly capable Project Officer to join the organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Healthy Food Information Service, across the state of NSW. This involves monitoring and reporting on the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy, as well as looking at Healthy Food and Drink in health facilities for staff and visitors.Role Title: Project OfficerHourly Pay: Between $60-$68 + Super per hourLocation: St Leonards (2065)/Hybrid.About the RoleProvide menu check assessments to schools, review canteen menus and provide clear advice and support to canteen operators to assist in improvements.Manage incoming phone and email enquiries.Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience in delivering health promotion programs, preferably in childhood settings or nutrition-related programs.Sound knowledge of obesity, chronic disease prevention and health promotion issues, specifically related to children and young people.Demonstrated organisational skills, capacity to successfully complete several tasks concurrently and achieve competing deadlines.Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clear advice to diverse audiences including schools, canteen operators, and health facility staff.Demonstrated ability to prepare reports and submissions, which include reporting data.Ability to work flexibly, collaboratively, and effectively across program areas.If you feel this opportunity matches your skills and previous experiences, please apply with your CV.Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area and possess full working rights within Australia.Seniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: General Business, Health Care Provider, and Project ManagementIndustries: Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
