Work in a strong rural sector-based business.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven customer service skills within retail and/or warehousing environments. Your main responsibilities will include:First point of contact for retail sales and enquiriesReceiving and storing of incoming goodsOrder processing including point of sale and invoicingPicking and packing of outgoing goods to customers and store transfersAssist with stock control including inventory monitoring and stocktakesBuilding excellent customer relationshipsChampion safety and compliance requirementsGeneral duties supporting the branch in the day-to-day operationsAbout YouCert III in Retail or minimum 2 years retail or warehouse experienceComputer literacy: Basic level Microsoft Office (eg Outlook, Word and Excel, Point of Sale Transactions and financial software)Well-developed interpersonal and communication (listening, written and verbal) skills, including the ability to work with a diverse range of peopleAbility to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a teamAbility to problem solve, as appropriate to role and responsibility levelExcellent customer service skills the ability to build successful relationships and to exceed a customers expectationsCurrent valid driving licenceA self-starter with the ability to work successfully autonomously as well as part of a team when requiredDesirableForklift licence (or willingness and ability to obtain)Experience in the agricultural industryInventory management experienceAbout UsAGnVET is an Australian owned independent agribusiness, providing rural supplies and services.
