Overview Dobmac Agricultural Machinery is a locally owned and operated business specialising in the design, manufacture, supply, and service of agricultural and packing machinery throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Welder / Fabricator to join our team at our Ulverstone location. This is a permanent, full-time role working on a wide variety of custom-built agricultural equipment in a supportive team environment. About the Role You will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, and assembly of Dobmac machinery and components, both new and existing. Youll also work on repairs and maintenance of agricultural equipment and contribute to continuous improvement across our production processes. Responsibilities MIG and TIG welding of components and assemblies General fabrication and mechanical assembly Training and mentoring apprentices Reading and interpreting technical drawings Repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery Accurate completion of job documentation Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Key Attributes Positive attitude with a team-first mindset Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience Stainless steel TIG welding experience Adaptable and proactive problem-solver High standard of workmanship and pride in delivering quality work Willingness to learn and improve Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail Experience with fitting and machining is desirable Commitment to safety and compliance Manual drivers licence and forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) Ability and willingness to travel throughout Australia and New Zealand for installation and service projects (as required) Why Join Us At Dobmac, youll enjoy a wide variety of work across custom-built agricultural machinery.
