OverviewTotal Connections is an established WA business with branches in Perth, Kalgoorlie and Port Hedland, servicing predominantly the mining and industrial sectors. Our core business is hydraulic hose and fittings, supported by fire services, crane servicing, cylinder repairs and related hydraulic solutions.Were looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our operation. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands hose and hydraulics, leads from the front, and can drive safety, performance and accountability across a busy regional workshop and mobile service team.The RoleAs Operations Manager, youll take ownership of day-to-day operations and branch performance people, safety, workflow, customer outcomes and standards.This is not an office-based management role. Youll be visible on the floor, across the workshop and in front of customers, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Youll work closely with senior leadership to make sure the Kalgoorlie branch operates in line with company expectations and continues to grow.What Youll Be DoingLead the Kalgoorlie branch and take full ownership of branch performanceManage and support the team across workshop and field service operationsDrive safety and compliance across workshop and site work (OHS, permits, procedures)Plan and coordinate workload, scheduling and priorities to meet customer demandsEnsure quoting, scoping, job preparation and job close-out are completed properlyMaintain strong relationships with key customers and handle escalations when neededImprove systems, workflow and standards to lift consistency, productivity and qualityMonitor branch targets and KPIs (service delivery, turnaround, rework, team performance)Support shutdowns and major projects by coordinating labour, equipment and materialsEnsure the branch represents Total Connections professionally at all timesWhat Were Looking ForEssentialStrong hose and hydraulics knowledgeProven leadership experience in a workshop/service environment (branch or operations management)Strong people leadership able to set standards, hold accountability and build a solid team cultureConfidence dealing with customers, quoting, job planning and problem-solvingSolid computer skills (ERP systems, Microsoft)Strong understanding of workshop and site-based safety requirementsHighly RegardedMechanical or trade backgroundFire suppression experienceSales, quoting or key account management experienceExperience in mining or heavy industrial environmentsWhat Youll GetCompetitive salary package based on experienceA senior role with real ownership and influence over branch outcomesVariety no two weeks are the sameSupport from an established and growing WA businessLong-term opportunity with a company that values performance and loyalty #J-18808-Ljbffr
