These casual roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment while contributing to the safe and secure operation of Onslow Airport.ResponsibilitiesAs an Aviation Screening Officer, you will play an important frontline role in maintaining aviation security by conducting passenger and baggage screening in accordance with national aviation security legislation and standards. This highly visible role requires professionalism, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service while upholding strict security protocols.Qualifications and RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to meet standard pre-employment requirements, including medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening, and be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).A Certificate II in Transport Security Protection is desirable. If you do not already hold this qualification, the Shire will provide training and support you to obtain it, including attendance at a training course in Perth.A current First Aid Certificate is also required, or you must be willing to obtain one.This is a residential role based in Onslow, suited to candidates who are already living locally or planning to relocate to the area.
