Our team draw on their depth of industry experience to create a rewarding learning environment and our vision is to be the benchmark for quality education and training.Role SummaryThe RTO Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring AICE maintains full compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (SRTOs 2025) and the VET Quality Framework. Acting as the custodian of the organisations registration, this role ensures all student records, assessment practices, training documents and marketing activities consistently meet ASQA and other regulatory requirements. The position reports to the General Manager and plays a critical role in safeguarding quality, accuracy, and regulatory integrity across all RTO operations.Responsibilities and DutiesOur ideal candidate is proactive, energetic and positive. This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis.Key Responsibilities Include:Conduct regular audits of student files, assessments and documentation to ensure compliance with SRTO 2025 and all regulatory requirements.Manage the Continuous Improvement (CI) process, including maintaining the CI register and ensuring feedback leads to measurable enhancements.Facilitate assessment validation and moderation sessions with trainers to uphold assessment quality and compliance.Assist during internal and external regulatory audits.Oversee data integrity and manage regulatory reporting including AVETMISS, RAPT and QI submissions.Perform final checks of student competencies prior to issuing Certificates or Statements of Attainment.Lead improvements and automation initiatives within aXcelerate to enhance data visibility and operational efficiency.Monitor Trainer and Assessor Matrices to ensure staff maintain vocational competency, industry currency and required TAE credentials.Liaise with industry partners to ensure training and assessment remains aligned with current workplace needs.Support the preparation of tender applications and accreditation processes relating to scope of registration.Carry out additional compliance or administrative duties as directed by the General Manager or RTO Manager.Skills, Attributes and ExperienceMinimum 23 years of experience in RTO compliance or quality administration, with demonstrated ability to maintain auditready student records.Certificate IV or Diploma in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116 with upgrades), or willingness to obtain.Strong understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2025, including Outcome Standards, Compliance Requirements and the 2025 Credential Policy.Experience with aXcelerate preferred.Sound knowledge of the AQF, certificate issuance requirements and WA RAPT reporting standards.Proven capability in AVETMISS data management, including error identification and correction.Advanced computer skills, including management of digital filing systems, versioncontrolled documents and platforms such as SharePoint.Excellent written communication skills, with ability to prepare audit reports, rectification plans and CI updates.Strong interpersonal skills for providing constructive compliance feedback to trainers and assessors.Selfmotivated with a strong SelfAssurance mindset to follow structured compliance schedules.Experience in health care training sectors (desirable), particularly relating to clinical placements and logbooks.Current National Police Clearance, NDIS Clearance and Working With Children Check, or ability to obtain.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed on regulatory and legislative changes.AICE are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
