About the role Locum Physiotherapist Mount Barker, WA 20th October 7th November 2025 | Accommodation Included We are seeking a caring and competent Locum Physiotherapist to cover our practice from 20th October 7th November 2025, with the opportunity of a permanent role for the right applicant. Wed love our locum to arrive 20th October for a supported handover over several days before taking on the full caseload. Youll be working in a supportive medical centre setting in Mount Barker, WA, as the sole Physiotherapist on duty during this period, with thorough client handovers and full admin support. What We Offer Competitive rate: $2500 per week Private accommodation in Denmark: a full house to yourself, complete with sauna, walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants, and the local tavern Lifestyle opportunity: minutes from surf breaks, wineries, and walking trails in the stunning Great Southern region Full administrative support: no billing or bookings required focus purely on clinical work Clinic is ~40 minutes from Denmark accommodation; home visits may extend up to 1 hour from home Caseload & Schedule Monday & Wednesday (full clinic days) 8:30 am 4:30 pm Musculoskeletal case load, 30-minute appointments (max 13/day) Generous breaks (1 hr 45 min total) for lunch, tea, and admin Tuesday & Thursday (mixed days) 78 clinic clients in the morning 23 home visit clients in the afternoon Friday 5 x 1-hour home visit clients What Were Looking For AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist Confident in musculoskeletal practice and exercise prescription Comfortable providing care in home visit / aged care setting Future Opportunities For the right candidate, this locum could grow into a permanent role (approximately 0.6 FTE initially with potential to build to full time relatively quickly as desired) as part of our growing VitalStep Allied Health team. Location Clinic: Mount Barker Medical Centre, WA Home Visits: Across the region (up to 1 hr from Denmark accommodation) Accommodation: Denmark township (private house with sauna provided) for Locum time only. About the practice We are a husband and wife team that have built our business over the past 6 years in the Great Southern Region. We operate out of a Medical Centre which is a General Practice and Multi-disciplinary team with full admin support. On site we have clinic rooms and a gym room that is Physio specific. Our Physio practice focuses on assessing movement and effective exercise prescription through Functional Movement Systems (FMS), with high quality manual therapy, dry needling, cupping and Lifestyle Medicine counseling to provide personal and holistic care. Our home visits are primarily for those with Aged Care and NDIS and we again try to use a holistic lens and facilitate pain free movement, before building capacity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
