OverviewThe Yard Operations Supervisor / Manager will oversee day-to-day yard operations, ensuring activities are conducted safely, efficiently and in alignment with NXT Group operational and HSE standards. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for coordinating personnel, equipment, materials and logistics while maintaining strong safety and operational controls across the facility.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise daily yard operations and personnel.Conduct and document daily pre-start meetings and safety briefings.Coordinate planning, scheduling and allocation of yard resources & projects.Manage equipment storage, laydown areas and material movements.Oversee procurement coordination, deliveries and dispatch activities.Support mobilisation and demobilisation of project equipment.Maintain housekeeping, traffic management and safe access zones.Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.Liaise with operational and project teams to support delivery outcomes.Essential RequirementsDemonstrated experience in yard and workshop operations management within mining, construction or industrial environments.Strong understanding of HSE systems and frontline safety leadership.Experience in planning, scheduling and operational coordination.Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.Ability to obtain and maintain a clear Federal Police Background Check.Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence (mandatory).Highly RegardedHeavy vehicle licence (HR/HC/MC).Forklift or plant operating tickets.Experience supporting shutdown or industrial service environments.First Aid, Working at Heights or Confined Space certification. #J-18808-Ljbffr
