OverviewFerronova is on a mission to ensure everyone with cancer receives the surgery and therapy they need, no more, no less. To achieve this mission the company is commercialising novel nanoparticle technology for image guided cancer surgery, with the technology evaluated in ongoing clinical trials.As we scale, we are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist to join our R&D and Manufacturing team.The RoleReporting to the R&D Manager, you will play a key role in the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods for advanced polymer and nanoparticle systems destined for clinical application. This role sits at the intersection of innovation, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.Characterisation using HPLC, SEC, ICP-MS, TEM, GC, XRD, DLS, and multinuclear NMR (H, C, P)Development and validation of analytical methods in compliance with international standardsPreparation of regulatory documentation and technical reportsSupporting laboratory expansion, equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and complianceConducting risk assessments and developing SOPs/PWIs to maintain a safe, efficient and compliant working environmentDeveloping and validating new analytical processes for complex nanoparticle and polymer systems.You will collaborate with the Production team and manufacturing partners in implementation of methods,Writing comprehensive reports for regulatory submissions and maintaining rigorous GMP laboratory compliance.What You BringWe are looking for a scientist who balances technical rigour with a collaborative mindset.Masters or PhD in Chemistry or related discipline, or Bachelors degree with relevant industry experienceProven experience in nanoparticle and/or polymer analysisStrong background in regulated analytical environments (GMP highly desirable)Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently to meet deadlinesWhy Ferronova?Youll work alongside a focused, mission-driven team developing materials for life-changing surgical applications.
