OverviewWe are seeking a high-level Hydraulics Technician to join our team.Australian work rights are required for this position.Our scope of work covers a wide range of industries, from Mining, Oil & Gas, Defence, Marine, Earthmoving and Power GenerationThis opportunity will suit an individual with:At least five years post-apprenticeship experienceA completed apprenticeship in Hydraulics/Fluid Power, Mechanical Fitting or equivalent trade is required as the foundation for the post-apprenticeship experienceA sound understanding and ability to trouble shoot hydraulic systems inclusive of:Fixed Displacement systemsClosed Loop Hydraulic TransmissionPressure & Flow Compensated (Load Sense)Electro Proportional hydraulic controlAbility to read and understand hydraulic schematic drawingsExperience with key products manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, Eaton, Danfoss and ParkerBasic machining experience (lathe and milling machine)Basic welding experience (Stick & MIG)Good organisational skills and ability to prioritiseAbility to work unsupervisedWillingness to work remote occasionally (mines & oil rigs)Whats on offerAbove award wages with penalties paid for overtime38 hr base working week plus overtimeWell-equipped workshopFrequent Mine Site & Remote Projects with generous allowances paidBe careful - Dont provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
