Reporting to the **Nurse Team Leader**, this is a **Permanent Part Time (19 hours per week)** **onsite****Corio, VIC**.**How you will make an impact*** Support admissions and discharges, including conducting all relevant observations and documentation* Provide ongoing clinical care, including monitoring withdrawal symptoms and administering medication in line with policy* Communicate effectively with the onsite GP, RN and AOD Support Workers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, pathology tracking, and contribute to unit audits* Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a welcoming, safe, and therapeutic environment for all clients**What you will bring*** A relevant qualification in Nursing and current AHPRA registration* Completed or willingness to complete Cert IV in AOD competencies (within first 12 months)* Experience in AOD nursing or working with individuals with mental health and substancerelated needs* Knowledge of withdrawal management guidelines and the ability to conduct clinical assessments and appropriate interventions* Strong communication skills and confidence working with individuals displaying diverse or challenging behaviours* Ability to work respectfully with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs* Current Drivers Licence and VIC Working with Children Check**Why this role matters** The Salvation Army (Salvos) is one of Australias largest providers of Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) programs, offering withdrawal management, residential and nonresidential rehabilitation, and harmreduction supports.
