About the RoleResponsibilitiesSafely operate company vehicles (including LR-class vehicles or higher where applicable)Conduct full-day, half-day and multi-day camping toursProvide accurate commentary and interpretation of destinationsManage group safety and logisticsAssist with campsite set-up and pack-downDeliver high levels of customer serviceComply with all workplace health and safety requirementsEmployment Type and ScheduleFull-Time Permanent positions availableCasual positions availableRosters include weekends and multi-day tripsSalaryAnnual salary range: $70,000 $95,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience and hours workedEquivalent daily rates apply for casual employeesSuperannuation paid in accordance with legislationEssential RequirementsMinimum 1 year of relevant experience in tour guiding, hospitality, tourism, outdoor leadership or a closely related fieldCurrent Australian Driver Licence (LR or higher highly regarded)First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)Physical capacity to participate in outdoor and camping activitiesAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and multi-day toursLegal right to work in AustraliaDesirable Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience conducting day or multi-day guided toursKnowledge of Central Australia or similar remote environmentsHeavy vehicle licence (MR or HR advantageous)Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Guide Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)Strong public speaking and group management skillsAbout the CompanyAutopia Tours is a national market leader in small group sightseeing tours across Australia.
