Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Beachside is one of our larger sites with 160 beds and provides specialised high level acuity, dementia and palliative care.To be successful in this role, you will have experience in cleaning ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment, and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is core to our culture.This role is offered on a permanent, part time basis, 25 hours a fortnight. You must be available for the following workpattern:Week 1: Friday 7am - 2:30pm, Saturday and Sunday 7am - 1pmWeek 2: Monday 7am - 2:30pmQualificationsPrevious experience working as a Domestic Assistant /Cleaner, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environmentHave a can do attitude and a genuine compassion for our residentsReliable with a strong work ethicAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWillingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie GroupWillingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (minimum of one covid vaccination and annual flu vaccination)Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)The RoleEnsuring bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors and communal areas are kept clean and tidyEnsuring supplies are stocked across the facilityLiaising with other employees to ensure the needs of our residents are metEnsuring residents'' personal clothing is individually labelled and put away in their rooms, identifying items that require mendingWorking with BethanieMany of us work because we want to make a difference.
