As CS Energys Digital and Technology Manager Information Security , you will act as the organisations lead authority on cyber and information security across both IT and OT environments. This role is critical to protecting essential energy infrastructure while supporting the safe adoption of new technologies in an evolving threat landscape. You will provide strategic direction and trusted advice to senior leaders while leading the ongoing maturity of CS Energys cyber security capability. With responsibility for governance, risk management, incident response and security program delivery, you will strengthen organisational resilience and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks including AESCSF. Duties include, but are not limited to: Develop and deliver the enterprise information security strategy across IT and OT environments. Provide expert advice to the executive team and board on cyber security posture, risks and emerging threats. Identify, assess and manage cyber security risks and associated treatment plans. Oversee security policies, audits, vulnerability management and improvement initiatives. Lead and coordinate cyber incident response and post-incident reviews. Monitor emerging threats and assess potential impacts to the organisation. Provide guidance on secure architecture, technology design and solution implementation. Review technology initiatives to ensure alignment with security standards and organisational risk appetite. Oversee security testing and ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities. Lead, mentor and develop the Information Security team. Manage relationships with managed security service providers and key vendors. Promote cyber awareness and embed a strong security culture across the organisation. Deliver the Cyber Security Program and associated capability uplift initiatives. Manage operational security budgets and support major technology initiatives. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business management or related field would be well regarded but not essential. Previous experience managing teams and service partners to achieve agreed goals and objectives. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate a team vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the IT and business strategy. Ability to build a strong partnership with the business and demonstrate the business value of Information Security. Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution Skills. Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and practices, and how other enterprises are employing them. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic people plan that ensures the right people are in the right roles through the right engagement (Internal vs. External) at the right time, and our employees are highly engaged and satisfied. Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources internal and external to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that support business objectives. Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as AESCSF, ISO27001, ASD Essential 8. Security and architecture experience across IT, OT/SCADA and Cloud.
