Overview Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College Alice Springs Alice Springs NT Full time, Permanent 11d ago , from Catholic Education Office NT We are looking for a suitable qualified person to oversee our ELC and OSHC programs. Must have leadership experience, work well in a team and have knowledge of ETLF, MYTOP and the National Standards. Must hold Diploma in Early Childhood Education as a minimum. We have an ECT and OSHC team leader to support this role.We are a 33 place ELC. Responsibilities Ensure the day-to-day operations of the Early Learning Centre & Outside School Hours Care are monitored and maintained and that regular reporting to the Principal is provided; Operate the Centre within agreed policies and procedures that ensures compliance to all relevant laws and regulations; To support staff in providing a quality program that identifies the needs and interests of children in care; Supplement staff team by providing direct care to a group of children; About you Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education; Hold a current NT Working with Children Card; Hold a Senior First Aid Certificate; Demonstrated leadership experience in an early years setting; Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff including encouraging parental participation; Be responsible in working collaboratively with the Principal in the implementation and evaluation of quality programs for each child that is based on the childrens strengths and interests; Proficiency in the use of computers and technologies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
