This position also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote compliance with the Departments standards, processes, and procedures.The role is part of the Commissioning Services Team that is assisting agencies with implementing the State Commissioning Strategy which is focused on improved delivery of community services in WA. This includes:Improving and increasing contracting with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs)Analysing agency Commissioning Plan (ACP) data to identify opportunities for integrated service delivery, trials and pilots of place-based servicesSupporting cross sector organisational change to facilitate commissioningBuilding and enhancing commissioning skills and capability across government agencies and the communities services sectorThe position operates in a Personal Leadership context. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.The work areaThe Procurement Policy and Strategy business unit is responsible for a whole of government approach to procurement policy including administration of the Procurement Act, procurement systems and intelligence as well as whole of government common use arrangements and assurance functions that efficiently meet the business needs of government agencies, manage risks and deliver value for money.The Department of Treasury and Finance currently operates under two sets of organisational values, following its formation on 1 July 2025.
