This role falls under the internal housekeeping business unit. Housekeeping Service Attendants promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and concerns. The successful candidate should maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies/service and also Urban Rest procedures and standards. Additionally, maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesClean and service guest rooms, apartments, and common areas in accordance with Urban Rest standardsComplete full turnover cleaning between guest stays within the allocated timeframeProvide mid-stay service to guests during their stayMake beds, change linen, and replace used towelsDust, vacuum, mop floors, and sanitize all surfacesClean kitchen areas, including dishes, appliances, benches, and sinksClean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, mirrors, and floorsEnsure each property is fully prepared and presentable prior to guest arrivalClean the common areas and outside building areas as requiredRestock guest supplies such as toiletries, toilet paper, tea/coffee, and other amenitiesArrange furniture and decor according to Urban Rest presentation standardsConduct a final inspection of the property to ensure nothing has missed for cleaningReport any damages, missing items, or maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor/managerRecord and report any lost property in line with Urban Rest proceduresCollect used linen and towels and replace them with fresh suppliesMaintain adequate stock levels of cleaning products and guest amenitiesAssist with linen deliveries and the organisation of stock when requiredFollow all company cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safety guidelinesUse cleaning chemicals safely and according to provided instructionsEnsure all properties are properly locked and secured after cleaningTravel from one location to another for cleaning of apartments/ roomsResponsible for actively contributing to guest satisfaction in terms of cleanliness and presentationAuthorized to enter designated Urban Rest units for cleaning and providing drop off services as per requirementAttends guest feedback, guest requests/guest complaints in the area assignedResolve guest complaints to the best of their ability or promptly report to Supervisor and/or Guest Relations team, ensuring guest satisfactionBe familiar with all Urban Rest services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyReturn housekeeping packs, equipment and keys at the end of shiftWhat We Look ForExcellent attention to detailReliable and committedEnjoys variety in a position where no day is the sameGoes above and beyond to ensure exceptional guest serviceLikes to make a differenceDiversity & InclusionAt Urban Rest, we extend our invitation to candidates from Indigenous, neurodiverse, disabled, international, and diverse cultural backgrounds.
