Experienced Registered NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (Flexible Hours) Work where you live either part-time (min 3 days) or full-time! Work in this hybrid role utilising your Positive Behaviour Support skills! We are looking for Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide services to our participants in the North Perth Area. If you are a Behaviour Support Practitioner located in North Perth or in the surrounding suburbs of Perth and want to work where you live, apply now! We have a particular need for a practitioner with experience working with all ages, however, we encourage those who specialise in specific age groups and complex diagnoses and behaviours to apply as well. About us We are an NDIS-registered provider, and we support participants throughout NSW, QLD, VIC, WA and TAS, and we work with individuals of all ages, all diagnoses, and all behaviours. We utilise an array of technologies to allow you to focus on delivering exceptional services in an efficient way you probably didnt get into this field for the admin time, so we work to keep that to a minimum! We have a best-in-class induction training program, to set you up for success. About the role This role has the flexibility to either be part-time (min 3 days) or full-time. This is a hybrid working-from-home and mobile role. You will be based at home (no commute!) and will go out to visit people in their homes, schools, workplaces, programs, and in the community. Being a Behaviour Support Practitioner will involve working with people and their support networks to bring about behavioural change. We do this by understanding the relationship between a persons environment (social and physical) and their behaviour, and then influencing that persons environment so that it sets them up for success. Another important part of the role is supporting skill development, to ensure people have effective ways to get their needs met. Our practitioners meet with clients, conduct assessments, analyse behavioural data, develop strategies and Comprehensive Positive Behaviour Support Plans (CPBSPs), support the implementation of those strategies and plans, monitor progress, and review where necessary. The role involves other elements, too connecting with other team members, attending training, participating in projects or research, facilitating workshops, and more. About you You are an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner registered as a suitable NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner and you have a NDIS practitioner number You value integrity, collaboration, and transparency You have relevant undergraduate qualifications (Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Early Childhood, Teaching, Special Education, Social Work, Counselling or similar) Ideally, you have postgraduate qualifications or are working toward them You are passionate about this work the science and the people You are friendly, empathetic, and a clear communicator You have experience working with children and people with disability, and you are familiar with the NDIS You have experience in identifying Restrictive Practices and developing Interim Plans within the NDIS timeframes required You have experience undertaking functional assessments and developing CPBSPs You have experience in coaching families and support workers, ideally in implementing CPBSPs that you have written You have a current drivers license and an insured roadworthy vehicle Current NDIS endorsement (NDIS Worker Screening), as well as a current Working with Children Check What we offer our employees Great remuneration and benefits Work where you live!
