About the Role The Liquor Shed isnt your average bottle shop. Located in Jandakot, we are a massive 1,500sqm destination for craft beer, fine wine, and spirits. We are a proud, family-owned WA business that offers a "cellar door" experience at warehouse prices. We are looking for an energetic, handson Assistant Store Manager to support our Store Manager in leading a fastpaced team and managing a highvolume retail floor. Strategic Partnership: Work closely with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies, manage staff rosters, and ensure the store hits its operational targets. Administrative Synergy: Partner with our Office Admin team to ensure seamless stock invoicing, delivery paperwork, and accurate inventory records. You will be the bridge between the warehouse floor and the office. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of staff to ensure consistent service and safety standards. Inventory Management: Manage highvolume stock arrivals, bulkbuy displays, and the organization of our extensive cool room. Compliance: Act as the Person in Charge under the WA Liquor Control Act, ensuring strict adherence to RSA and secondary supply laws. Customer Engagement: Provide expert product knowledge across our 700+ craft beers and extensive WA wine range. Selection Criteria Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills; you must be able to communicate effectively with the Store Manager, Admin team, and suppliers. Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience in retail (liquor experience is highly regarded). Physical Capability: This is a high-volume warehouse environment; you must be comfortable moving heavy cartons and being on your feet.
