OverviewOur team is seeking skilled Chief Officers with the capability to learn to relieve as Master to join our dynamic maritime team onboard. Operating on a 4 week on - 4 week off Roster, This is a groundbreaking mining project in the West Pilbara region, The state-of-the-art operations leverage cutting-edge technologies to minimize environmental impact while enhancing efficiency and safety.ResponsibilitiesManage and lead the deck department, ensuring safe and efficient operations.Oversee cargo operations and troubleshooting on an Articulated Tug and Barge (ATB) unit.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Maintain records and coordinate with other departments for smooth vessel operations.Document all cargo activities and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.QualificationsHold an AMSA Chief Officer Unlimited Certificate of Competency or Certificate of Recognition.Must be able to hold a valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations.Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strongly Considered:Cargo Handling or Transhipment ExperienceHold an AMSA Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency or Certificate of Recognition.Formal Vessel Handling Training on ATB and Azimuth VesselsCompetitive renumeration and benefits.Opportunity to work on a pioneering project with cutting-edge technology.Living and working on vessels with a focus on providing a comfortable and supportive work environment.Supportive and inclusive work environmentCommitment to DiversityWe are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
