Pinjarra Workshop5:2 Roster | Residential RoleCompetitive Hourly Rate | $100,000-$125,000 based on ExperienceJoin a Brand-New Facility Be Part of the BuildAbout usABBA Engineering is a proudly Australian-owned, ISO-accredited engineering and manufacturing company, delivering innovative end-to-end solutions across the mining, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.With a strong presence in Kalgoorlie, Pinjarra, Perth, and the Gold Coast, we are driving national growth through strategic investment in our people, cutting-edge technology, and state-of-the-art facilities.Our new Pinjarra manufacturing facility marks an exciting milestone, expanding our capabilities and opening the door to long-term, rewarding career opportunities for talented professionals.If youre looking for a new challenge, we warmly invite you to join us and be part of our growth journey.About the roleWe are seeking two trade-qualified Welder/Fabricators to join our Pinjarra workshop team.This is a hands-on workshop role suited to experienced Boilermakers, Metal Fabricators or Welders who take pride in producing accurate fabrication work and high-quality welds in a structured, safety-driven environment.Youll work alongside our Welding & Fabrication Leading Hand, robotic welding operators, engineers and mechanical assembly teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to specification.If you can read drawings confidently, set up your own jobs and produce clean welds we want to hear from you.What Youll Be DoingOn a typical day, youll be:Reading workshop drawings and setting up your own jobsMeasuring, cutting and preparing steel for fabricationPerforming MIG, TIG and Stick welding to specificationTacking, fitting and aligning components before final weld-outGrinding and finishing welds so theyre clean and compliantAssembling fabricated parts using bolts, rivets or other mechanical methods where requiredChecking your own welds for quality, penetration and accuracyYoull also:Load and unload components into robotic welding cellsTack and prepare parts for robotic weld runsInspect completed robotic welds before they move to the next stageWork closely with the fabrication and mechanical teams to keep workflow movingWere looking for someone who can work independently, manage their own time and maintain steady productivity without compromising on quality or safety.What Were Looking ForMandatory Requirements:Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (or equivalent)Trade-qualified Welder, Fabricator, or BoilermakerCurrent C Class Drivers LicenceHigh Risk Licences LF, EWPConfined Space & Working at Heights TicketsAdvantages:LR/MR Licence highly regardedExperienceMinimum 2 years workshop fabrication or welding experienceStrong proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick weldingConfident reading and interpreting technical drawingsExperience in heavy industrial or fabrication workshop environmentsExposure to robotic welding environments (advantageous but not essential)Youll Be Successful If You:Take pride in clean, accurate welds and fabrication workWork well independently and within a teamUnderstand production deadlines and workshop workflowHave a strong safety-first mindsetAre reliable, punctual and proactiveMaintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detailWhy Join Us?Stable 5:2 residential rosterModern workshop with robotic welding integrationStrong pipeline of workSupportive team environmentOpportunity to grow with a developing facilitySounds like you?
