OverviewClinical Nurse Consultant Aged Care (529733) Permanent, Full Time (up to 76 hours per fortnight). Location: Lyell House, West Coast District Hospital, Queenstown, Tasmania. Position Type: Permanent, Full Time (up to 76 hours per fortnight). Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $118,297 $125,543 per annum with 12% Employer Superannuation contribution, Salary in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023, Post Graduate Allowance up to 10% (based on qualification type), Remote & Rural Professional Development Allowance: $3,797 per annum, 10% Remote Allowance. Salary Packaging Benefits: Up to $9,010 living expenses per FBT year, $2,650 meal entertainment per FBT year, Additional benefits if eligible.ResponsibilitiesLeading and promoting best practice in aged care nursing and geriatric medicineActing as Infection Control Lead for West Coast District HospitalConducting comprehensive assessments and care planning with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teamsProviding expert clinical advice and support to staff; supporting quality improvement, risk management, and compliance activitiesAssisting the NUM and DON with documentation, reporting, policy development, and admissionsSupporting staff education and professional development in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse EducatorCollaborating with the Activities Coordinator to oversee resident activitiesApplicants must submit a 12 page application outlining their experience, skills and knowledge relevant to the Statement of DutiesHealth ServiceWest Coast District Hospital Lyell House is the Residential Aged Care Facility located within West Coast District Hospital.
