You will have a strong overview of services available across BH and can direct consumers to the most appropriate services as required.You''ll be responsible, under the direction of a relevant health professional (Registered Nurse or Allied Health Practitioner), for the provision of holistic screening of referrals and enquiries, in order to achieve access to the correct services and priority for care according to the consumers needs. Working within your scope of practice, you will identify additional services of benefit to the client and provide a range of information to the consumer about services, fees, eligibility and waiting times. As the intake worker you will liaise closely with the team to confirm service prioritisation or escalate care to ensure a safe and high-quality experience for our consumer.
