Indigeco is supporting a well-known workplace products distribution company in sourcing an Account Manager to join their sales team.This is an opportunity to join a national organisation in a commercially focused role responsible for managing customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering strong outcomes across a portfolio of business clients.This is an identified role; only applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander will be considered. The position is advertised under the special measures provisions of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth).About the RoleThe Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships across an assigned portfolio of customers. The role focuses on delivering value to clients through tailored account strategies, data-driven insights, and a strong understanding of the organisations products, systems, and services.Working closely with internal teams, the Account Manager will manage the full customer lifecycle and identify opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen partnerships, and improve customer outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the retention and profitability of customer contractsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organisationsDevelop customer development plans aligned with the company strategyManage all aspects of sales activity and the customer lifecycleIdentify opportunities to grow the share of wallet within the assigned territoryMaintain strong knowledge of industry products, systems, and value propositionsUse customer and financial data insights to support strategic account managementDemonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies and practicesKey RequirementsExperience working in a B2B sales or account management environmentDemonstrated success in achieving sales or revenue targetsStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience using systems such as Excel, SAP, Salesforce, or similar CRM toolsAbility to analyse customer and financial data to support commercial decisionsStrong consultative selling capability and relationship management skillsTeam-oriented mindset with high levels of accountability and adaptability #J-18808-Ljbffr
