OverviewAustralian Regional and Remote Community Services Darwin NT (ARRCS) Home Care are sourcing a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join on a full-time permanent basis (with a fixed roster). This role attracts an hourly rate of $47.34 - $48.82 / hour depending on skills and experience. Based in Darwin, you will deliver person-centred nursing care to consumers who reside in their own homes, using evidence-based best practice.You will regularly travel to consumers'' residences to provide care. As a qualified member of the team, you will assist with medication management and, when required, provide clinical advice and support to less experienced personal care workers to achieve person-focused quality care in line with the ARRCS mission. This role ideally suits an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys working autonomously with minimal supervision. You will have a regular client base and interact with clients and their families within their own residence. You should be comfortable travelling across the Greater Darwin region and have intermediate computer knowledge for record documentation whilst on the road.Please note: Visa Sponsorship is not available with this role. Key Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, ARRCS is looking for the following skills and qualifications:Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.Bachelor of Nursing.Current first aid (within 3 years) and CPR (within 12 months).Full working rights for Australia.Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice.Prior experience working as a Registered Nurse, with preference within a home or community care setting (however, not essential).Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.Preferably prior nursing or support worker experience within an aged care setting and familiarity with Aged Care legislation.
