The caseload consists of 90% dogs and cats. However, vets at the practice also treat exotics, pocket pets, zoo animals and wildlife. Animals from charities and re-homing groups are on the patient list too.The successful applicant will be required to perform consultations, surgery, diagnostic work-up and medical management. They will work through a variety of challenging and complex medical and surgical cases whilst being supported by an experienced team of vets and vet nurses.This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain employment in a busy, well-organised and friendly practice.Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or other relevant qualification, at least 1 year of experience (clinical placement included) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in the Northern Territory.The relaxed city of Darwin boasts a great climate.
