Someone who spots trends before they break, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and can turn sport moments into content people instantly want to share. As our Social Media Creator, TikTok is the main event, but youll be across all aspects of social content including Instagram, YouTube etc. You will lead the charge on bold, scrollstopping TikTok ideas for Sportsbet while helping shape how our brand shows up across social. Youll guide a small crew of creators while staying handson yourself, making sure everything we post is fast, funny, culturally sharp and unmistakably Sportsbet. From reactive content during live games to original social formats and creatorstyle storytelling, youll help shape how Sportsbet shows up on TikTok while guiding how those ideas extend across YouTube, Instagram and other channels. Reporting to the Head of Social Content and sitting within a team of 10+, youll lead a team of 3-4 content creators while remaining handson in ideation, filming, editing and publishing. Your job is to make sure every piece of content hits the mark in tone, timing, humour and originality. Responsibilities Include Be the creative lead from idea through to execution where you shape ideas, scripts, visuals, formats and tone. Champion content that pushes boundaries while staying on brand for Sportsbet and relevant to the audience (eg. Gen Z) Design and produce social content, including video memes, photoshops, short edits, GIFs Confidently use tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, Canva etc Ensure content aligns with wider campaigns, promos, or sporting events. About You Youll live and breathe sport (particularly AFL) and be the goto for taking raw ideas and shaping them into Sportsbetworthy executions that are funny, reactive and relevant in the digital world. Its fastpaced, handson and absolutely requires someone who can ideate at speed, direct shoots, finesse edits, write funny scripts and still deliver a meme before halftime. Proven experience leading or directing creative content in a socialfirst environment Ability to direct creatives, while still crafting content yourself with an eye for whats trending in sport and online culture An innate sense of humour and timing.
