Exciting and busy government agency with a broad scope of responsibility Flexible work arrangements, including flexi-time Convenient central CBD location close to public transport This is your opportunity to provide and oversee the delivery of records management for a dynamic and fast-paced government agency. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Support, the Information Management Officer is responsible for the delivering a broad scope of records and information management services, including supporting business unit operations in relation to filing, storage and archiving requirements. The role is also responsible for ensuring that CBS remains compliant within the State Records Act 1997 (SA). The role will play a key part in ensuring records management policies and processes are in place and complied with, promoting the importance of good information management practices and reducing the volume of unsentenced records at on- and off-site records storage. Candidates should note that the role will be physically demanding at times, as it will require the lifting and movement of archive boxes. Our ideal candidate will have: Sound knowledge and understanding of government records management practices and principles. Knowledge of compliance requirements with the State Records policy, standards and legislation. Proven ability to set and meet deadlines and organise, coordinate and prioritise large volumes of work. Proven ability to work autonomously and proactively under limited supervision. Experience in Objective or other electronic records management systems. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Certificate IV Records Management or demonstrated industry knowledge and experience (desirable). About the Business The Attorney-Generals Department (AGD) provides a range of legal, regulatory and other services for the government and people of South Australia. Consumer and Business Services (CBS) is a division of the Attorney-Generals Department and is responsible for protecting consumers, supporting and regulating businesses and recording significant life events for South Australians. CBS is customer focused and flexible in its activities, providing accessible information and services. CBS employs around 220 staff and our primary purpose is to facilitate business, protect consumers and record life events. CBS constitutes a large part of South Australias business/consumer regulatory system and is the regulator for many businesses and professions. The Information Management Officer role forms part of the CBS Project Management Team. Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Some out of hours work may be required. Frequent lifting of up to 16kg archive boxes may be required. Frequent bending and reaching may be required.
