To learn more about us, visit our website: or Description Were coming to the fringe of Melbourne''s sporting and entertainment precinct, with a brand new 140key apartment hotel. Flying under the banner of our neighbourhood brand, Veriu Hotels & Suites, the hotel will tastefully bring to life the sporting culture of Melbourne while being strategically surrounded by the corporate offices of small & large businesses and brands. This makes the property ideally placed for our core customer, the corporate traveller. As General Manager, youll guide the hotel through its most important phases: preopening, rampup, stabilisation, and the path to profitability. In the leadup to opening, youll work within the Veriu Group framework to establish the team, structure, suppliers, and operational processes required for a seamless launch. Youll spend significant time onsite ensuring preopening tasks and timelines are met, while collaborating closely with our Development team and key stakeholders. Just as importantly, youll be driving business development, building strong relationships and reputation with corporate partners to position the hotel for longterm success. Once open, your focus will shift to establishing and stabilising the business, embedding efficient operations while growing the hotels presence within the local community and corporate markets. About You We work in a fastpaced environment where no day is the same, so were looking for people who are adaptable, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset. The successful person must have: Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights) Be willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate and Liquor Licence (at Veriu expense) Demonstrated experience developing and leading a high performing team Expertise in problem solving and influencing business performance High standards of attention to detail and communication (written & verbal) Passion for personal growth and pushing business performance limits High emotional intelligence #J-18808-Ljbffr
