PX Wealth is a boutique financial planning firm providing personalised advice to local and international clients, with offices in Australia and the UK. We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations (Australia) to oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm and work closely with the Managing Director to ensure the business runs efficiently. This is a senior operational role within a small and growing advice practice, suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of systems, processes and team coordination within a professional services environment. Applicants should have prior experience working within a financial planning or wealth management business. This is an primarily office-based role but part time and hybrid working arrangements may be considered. About the Role This role combines operational leadership with handson involvement in the daytoday running of a boutique financial planning practice. You will work closely with the Managing Director and support a small team to ensure smooth business operations and excellent client service. Key responsibilities include: Managing the daytoday operations of the financial planning practice Coordinating and supporting client service and administration staff Improving practice workflows, systems and operational processes Ensuring strong client service standards and operational efficiency Supporting the Managing Director with practice management and operational matters Assisting with AFSL compliance processes and maintaining operational compliance frameworks Liaising with offshore support staff where required Coordinating with the firms UK office to support crossoffice operational matters Supporting processes within a regulated financial services environment Who This Role Would Suit This role is ideal for someone currently working within a financial planning or wealth management practice who enjoys working in a small business environment where they can take ownership and make a real impact. You will be comfortable wearing multiple hats, improving processes, and supporting a small team while helping the business run efficiently. About You Experience working within a financial planning or wealth management practice Strong organisational and operational management skills Experience coordinating staff and managing workflows The ability to take initiative and work independently A practical, solutionsfocused mindset suited to a small business Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with AFSL compliance and working within a regulated financial services environment would be highly regarded but is not essential.
