Client A leading, largescale Australian retailer is seeking an enterprisecalibre GM Commercial to partner with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team in shaping and delivering the next phase of commercial growth, strategic evolution and finance transformation. The Role Reporting directly to the CFO, you will drive operational excellence and deliver measurable business impact across the organisation. This role blends commercial insight, strategic influence, governance rigour and transformation leadership at scale. Responsibilities Partner with senior leaders to define, assess and execute enterprise strategy Lead longrange financial planning and corporate modelling Oversee capital allocation and investment governance Drive enterprisewide performance across a multisite network Lead a significant finance function spanning planning, commercial finance, control, transformation and transactional operations Lead and mentor a highperforming finance team, establishing robust people practices, governance, and accountability across the function Translate complex operational data into actionable insights to support executive decisions and deliver sustainable business outcomes Qualifications (Ideally) 10+ years experience in senior finance leadership roles Experience in multisite retail, FMCG or similarly complex consumer environments Deep expertise in commercial finance, FP&A and capital governance Demonstrated success leading transformation and ERP implementation Strong executive presence with experience presenting to Boards CA/CPA qualification (MBA advantageous) Why Join Us This is a senior role with significant impact on the longterm success of the business.
